1986年、バンコク生まれ。ニューヨークおよびバンコク在住。
2012年にコロンビア大学美術学科修士課程を修了し、その直後より「Painting with history in a room filled with men with funny names」のシリーズを開始しました。これは絵画、彫刻、パフォーマンス、映像、インスタレーションなどの垣根を超えて、あるいは無視するかのように展開され、彼の芸術実践の代名詞として一躍世界に名を知られるところとなりました。ローカルとグローバル、資本主義とスピリチュアリズムを大胆なスケールで衝突させ提示する彼の姿勢は多くの若いアーティストに支持されています。彼はバンコクで映像作品のフェスティバルをオーガナイズするなど、地元のアートコミュニティにも大きな影響力を持っています。
Born in Bangkok in 1986. Lives and works in New York and Bangkok. He received his MFA from Columbia University in 2012, shortly after which he began his project series “Painting with history in a room filled with men with funny names”. The series has become synonymous with his artistic practice and is known around the world for its transgression of or disregard for the boundaries between painting, sculpture, performance, video, and installation. His boldly scaled collision of the local and the global, capitalism and spiritualism, has gained the endorsement of many young artists. He is also very influential in the local art community, organizing a festival of video art in Bangkok.
