世界的ファッションブランド、SAINT LAURENT 初の日本人デザイナー。
現CELINEクリエイティブディレクター、エディ・スリマン氏に
見出され、パリコレクション制作に携わる。
ファッションデザインを思索する中、リサーチの一環で撮影した世界各地の写真からインスピレーションを受けたことをきっかけに静止画への興味を持つ。
写真の持つ「瞬間を切り取る」、「時間を止める」ような感覚に魅了され、2021年の帰国後は被服（立体）以外のデザインの一つとして、平面作品にも取り組む。
シャッターを切る事で成立する「自分が存在しない世界＝俯瞰世界」を以て、『確かに私はそこに居た』という自らの「存在意義」を表現した作品を特徴としている。
First Japanese designer for SAINT LAURENT.
Discovered by Hedi Slimane, the current creative director of CELINE, he was involved in the production of the Paris collection.
While contemplating fashion design, he was inspired by photographs taken around the world as part of his research, which triggered his interest in still photography.
He was fascinated by the sense of "capturing the moment" and "stopping time" that photography possesses, and after returning to Japan in 2021, he began working on two-dimensional works as a form of design other than clothing (three-dimensional).
His works are characterized by the "significance of existence", expressing the presence of the self by capturing a "bird's-eye view world" where the self doesn't exist in the photograph.
